About

Dr. Crystal Swinton Cooper is a business and education consultant supporting preschools to post-secondary educational institutes, teachers and trainers on developmentally appropriate ways to educate young learners. Dr. Cooper began her career in education consulting in 2004 while operating a licensed childcare facility in Central Virginia. Throughout her career, she has held various roles as a certified Technical Assistant Coach with the University of Florida’s Lastinger Center, a certified Professional Development Specialist with the Council of Professional Recognition, a certified trainer, and a Master’s Teaching Specialist with Nova Southeastern University. For six years she was the the Director of Business Development and Training for Family Central Inc, where she continued to support the field of education by collaborating with leaders to deliver educational opportunities and credentials to adult learners. She oversaw the department’s secondary school programs with the State of Florida’s Department of Education and the Accreditation of the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) for CEU processing.

Over her career, she has further contributed to teaching adults as an FCCPC/CDA instructor and has also served as an Interrater Reliable observer for Teaching Strategies and the McCormick Center for Early Childhood Leadership.

Dr. Crystal Swinton Cooper holds a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies in Business Administration and Education, a Master’s Degree in Teaching and Learning, and a Doctorate in Education.
